1st Year!

how i would describe first year of uni :)

how i would describe first year of uni 🙂

Today I am handing in my final piece of work from my first year of university, which is exciting then i am literally free for summer 🙂 it’s been a huge year for health, emotions, work etc; I’ve met some wonderful people who if weren’t there my first of uni would have been a totally different year and i wouldn’t have enjoyed it so much. They basically kept me as sane as i could be but were brilliant friends and I love them so much ❤ lots of laughs and hugs throughout the year.

if your contemplating going to uni go for it i would say 🙂

Toodles x

My nineteenth birthday evening was on the same night as the sign language society ball, here is a photo of me without my chair in my dress:) and then one in my chair with some of my deaf studies class and lecturers!

End of year one, back in September for year 2!

Sorry for not posting in sooooo long!

sorry-1

Well hellllooooo, i’m back. I apologise deeply for not posting in ages and/or checking in to say hi now and again. Long story i guess from the last time i posted. Basically health got in the way, along with keeping track of uni and work and then also i forgot the password and which email i used for this so couldn’t log in etc etc. none are an excuse tho!

Well, how are we all? I will hopefully keep posting from now on, whatever i see and like, thoughts, ideas, health updates hopefully as often as I can and if not at least monthly. if i forget send me a message or comment on something and it will pop up.

for now i’m going to carry on my uni work and i will post properly in a few days.

Love you all 🙂 x

what to talk about……..

Hey, hope your all well.

I’m trying to think of at least one interesting thing I’ve done recently and the only thing i can think of that i remotely more interesting but i love it is I have joined a wheelchair basketball team. My health seems to have taken a detour and now i use my wheelchair more and my walking stick less unlike a few months ago. However not all bad i guess.

But I’ve joined a wheelchair basketball team it’s awesome flying down the court in a chair that fits and works really well for the environment your in, be amazing if the world was like that would be so much easier but just less hard/extra work. I’ve only10676181_10152768680637655_1730202763209018820_n been to a few practices and everyone seems lovely one girl has been teaching me how to do the basics as it’s actually quite hard coordinating the ball the turns the bounces etc all in the chair. But so far it’s great! Hoping to carry on as it’s nice to get out on the weekends but also good exercise.

It’s actually really interesting I’ve learnt stuff i never knew, like able bodied people are allowed to play in the games unless they want to the Olympics/paralympics of course but apart from that so it’s very inclusive. Once you get on the court your all the same and in the same shoes.

it’s a really good game and I can’t wait for each weekend got something to look forward to doing.

Hello again :)

HELLO in eight different languages

Hi, so firstly i wanted to apologize for not posting in ages finally had my first semester of university so i’m thinking it’ll settle down now. I’ve had uni to deal with on top of that personal and health issues but i’m doing okay and hope to post more.

Mainly i hope your all well and doing okay and happy. or at least as happy as you can be.

Well i’ll post soon, tura for a day or so x

I Took My Dying Dog on a Bucket List Adventure – by Lauren Fern Watt

this #givesmehope
so much love for my dog i would do something like this, i admire you x

Kindness Blog

When my 160-pound English Mastiff was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer, I was crushed. Together Gizelle and I had been through college, boyfriends, our early 20s, and a move from simple Tennessee to big and scary New York City.

This dog wasn’t just my best friend — she was my roommate and confidant. What does the vet mean she only has a few months left?

My sobbing seemed unstoppable, but Gizelle was sensitive and didn’t like to see me cry. I had to be strong. So I decided we would bury our worries in the dog park and create a bucket-list adventure of everything we wanted to do before she died. It was my mission for us to indulge and explore life’s joys. We’d escape the city and search for waterfalls, cook lobster, and nap in the grass. We’d jump in the ocean without towels, just to enjoy the sun…
